Due to limiting social gathering policy imposed by the government, ICMCM 2021 will be conducted through a virtual presentation. The presentation format will be informed accordingly through email by the secretariat.

The health and safety of participants is our top priority.

Dear Colleagues,

It is our great pleasure to warmly invite all the experts and academicians from around the world to the the International Conference on Material Characterization and Modelling (ICMCM 2021). This conference will be conducted virtually on the 13th - 14th December 2021.

Understanding the importance of technologies fusion, most countries are forging ahead with the Fourth Industrial Revolution (IR4.0). To direct it towards a future that reflects our common objectives and values in Materials Engineering, the theme of this year's assemblage is " Together We Embrace IR4.0". This conference is a good platform to facilitate networking, information exchange, intellectual discourses and collaborations among the delegates in realizing IR4.0.

Let us embrace IR4.0 with passion for a better future!!!

Kind Regards,

Prof. Dr. Patrick Masset (Chairman)
 TU Koszalin-Poland

Materials Functionalization

Prof. Dilip Sarkar, Université du Québec à Chicoutimi, Canada

Functionalization is the process of adding new functions, features, capabilities, or properties to a material by changing the surface chemistry of the material.

Biomaterials

Biomaterials

Asst. Prof. Derek Hadar Rosenzweig, Canada

A biomaterial is a substance that has been engineered to interact with biological systems for a medical purpose, either a therapeutic (treat, augment, repair, or replace a tissue function of the body) or a diagnostic one. As a science, biomaterials is about fifty years old. The study of biomaterials is called biomaterials science or biomaterials engineering.

Light Composite materials

ICMCM

Prof. Dr. Faiz Ahmad, Universiti Teknologi Petronas, Malaysia

A composite material (also called a composition material or shortened to composite, which is the common name) is a material which is produced from two or more constituent materials. These constituent materials have notably dissimilar chemical or physical properties and are merged to create a material with properties unlike the individual elements.

Computational Modelling of Materials

ICMCM

N.N.

Advances in computing power and software offer the potential to design, synthesize, characterize and test materials in a virtual setting. These capabilities enable accelerated development and optimization of new materials across a range of applications.

Advanced Ceramics

ICMCM

Dr. Ebru Gunister, Istanbul Galata University, Turkey

A ceramic is any of the various hard, brittle, heat-resistant and corrosion-resistant materials made by shaping and then firing a nonmetallic mineral, such as clay, at a high temperature. The crystallinity of ceramic materials ranges from highly oriented to semi-crystalline, vitrified, and often completely amorphous (glasses).
